The studio building comprises facilities for live broadcast, including the largest TV studio in western Europe (at the time of completion), Multi-Purpose Audio Studio, and home for the BBC Philharmonic Orchestra. All supported by full post production facilities, artists’ dressing rooms, make-up rooms, green rooms, scenery and equipment stores. Additional accommodation includes a visitor centre, exhibition space and audience handling facility, with retail and refreshment opportunities.
