Established by Trevor Cousins following 20 years of working for large private practices, Trevor has become a well-connected figure in the north west construction and development sector, and been involved as Project Architect for a range of high-profile developments including; The TV Studios at MediaCityUK, the commercial offices development at Spinningfields in Manchester, and master planning and development work for Premiership football clubs . As such Forty8 Design has significant experience in the design and delivery of architectural projects across a variety of sectors, both large and small. We regularly collaborate with fellow like-minded consultants to offer a ‘full-team’ to suit projects, and we can also undertake those projects which require our own expertise with the backing & resource of a larger architectural practice.

Since our inception, we have worked with domestic clients on private houses - new builds and extensions, extra-care & social housing providers with national coverage, education, media, sport & leisure facilities, industrial storage units, offices and pharmaceutical laboratories.

Through direct request from existing clients, we now have access to a range of professional expertise within the construction industry, and our scope of service has expanded to include both Landscaping and Interior Design commissions, to compliment our architectural designs.

Our approach is always to treat every project, not matter what size, with the same high level of care and attention to detail, whether you require something ‘out of the ordinary’, or a functional solution.
