Planning for a side and 1^st floor extension to an existing factory to create additional storage space for materials and finished goods. Circa 500sq.m additional floor area within a restricted plot, and accessed by goods lift and external pair of escape stairs. The design incorporated a rainscreen cladding system fabricated by the client at the premises, to portray their product, and tie in with the partly renovated admin block. The design and method of construction is to allow ongoing occupation of the manufacturing workshop below.
